The who/what/when/where and whys behind the great mystery adventures

We all love a good mystery. Whether it’s a missing persons case, a page-turning whodunit, or the search for ancient civilizations, the adventure genre provides an abundance of riches for mystery enthusiasts. In fact, when it boils right down to it, EVERY adventure game is comprised of a series of mysteries: where do I go next, how do I get there, what do I need, who do I need to talk to or deceive, and why?! 

But what makes a good mystery, and which ones are the best? While we can’t answer that for everyone, Joshua and Jack put on their deerstalkers and examine all available clues as to why – there’s that word again – mystery games are so well-suited to the adventure genre, and which of them manage to stand above the rest. 

And as a bonus top five, the guys cross media lines to discuss their favorite mysteries of ALL kinds. Which will they list? It’s another mystery! You’ll have to watch or listen to find out!
