Gamescom 2024 in video: Adventure game round-up part 2
- 0 Comments
The Indie Arena Booth at gamescom could be an entire event in itself (and it may be just a testament to how big the Cologne games convention is that it isn't). This year over 160 indie games, from platformers, shoot 'em ups, RPGs to of course adventure games, were on show, so it felt right to split our coverage to feature the huge amount of content from the Booth in its own special section. So following my written round-up of games elsewhere at gamescom, here's a video of ten games I really enjoyed playing this year, including a few words from the developers representing them. From traditional point-and-click Elroy and the Aliens, to survival climbing simulator Cairn, they might feel quite different in style, but all of them featured intriguing premises, stand-out art, and left me wanting more, like any good indie demo should.
