Henry Halfhead looks ahead to PC release

Quirky sandbox adventure game about possessing objects to be playable either solo or co-op
Imagine you were only a head. In fact, only half a head. Sure, it would cut down on your clothing expenses, but it would make it a whole lot harder to live a normal, everyday life. That, however, is the delightful challenge facing players in Lululu Entertainment's upcoming sandbox puzzler Henry Halfhead, which was recently on display at gamescom's Indie Arena Booth.
Henry is an "odd little character" who for some reason has no body, or even a mouth. Fortunately the existing half of Henry's head contains their brain, because putting one's noggin to good use will be essential under such trying circumstances. Just as importantly, Henry also has the "peculiar ability to possess and control any object within their reach." The game spans the entire course of Henry's entire lifetime, from their carefree days as a baby, to dealing with adult responsibilities on the job, to the "calmer, more laid-back senior years." Along the way, as we can all surely relate, Henry begins to lose their "playfulness and curiosity for the world while growing up." It'll be the player's job to help Henry rediscover their joie de vivre through experimentation and exploration and restore a sense of fun to life once again.
Described as a "quirky sandbox adventure game," Henry Halfhead is a whimsical experience presented in a simple but charming cartoon art style. Having only half a head is as limiting as you'd expect, with minimal maneuverability on your own. That's where your ability to possess other objects comes in, as you discover their unique properties and use them to help progress through Henry's "not-so-ordinary everyday life." There are over 150 different objects to inhabit, whether you want to "become a knife to slice your morning toast, water your beloved plants as a watering can, [or] experience how much fun making your bed as bouncy wobbly pillows can be." You'll need to fulfill your daily obligations, but you're also free to relax, "grow your surroundings into a joyful playground," and "think outside the box to find alternative solutions to challenges and discover bonus content." You can customize Henry to your liking (well, with hats; Henry has only half a head, after all) and unlock a "collection of fun mini-games which test your object-controlling skills." An amusing narrator will relate Henry's "wholesome story" as you progress, and if you don't want to play alone, there's an option to play with a friend via the "drop-in local co-op mode" to learn that "double the Henry [means] double the fun."
There's no target release date for Henry Halfhead, but the game is ready for wishlisting on Steam, where it will launch for Windows PC when complete. In the meantime, you can head over to the game's official website for ongoing updates.
