Description

Carol is assigned by a literary agent to find Aldred Bauer, a best-selling writer of crime fiction. The agent hasn't been able to contact Aldred in over a week, and he's missed an important deadline he promised to meet, which hasn't happened before. Carol finds it unusually difficult to determine Aldred's whereabouts. But she suspects that he left his home intentionally, since she can't find any computer, typewriter, or other writing paraphernalia in his house.
