October is not only a great month for new releases, but thanks to the autum Steam Next Fest, it's a veritable cornucopia of demos as well! The sheer number of possibilities are almost overwhelming, so as always, we've scoured them all to highlight the most promising adventure game demos and listed them here for your convenience. New games may be added as more demos become available, but don't delay when you find one that tickles you fancy, as the festival ends on October 21st, and with it many of the demos will disappear. 

30 Birds

Developer: RAM RAM Games, Business Goose Studios

When Lantern City's patron giant bird goddess, Simurgh, is suddenly kidnapped, a detective named Zig begins her hunt for the international criminal known as ‘The Scientist.’ Wander the magical city made of giant lanterns floating in an everlasting night sky, solve puzzles, and help a bunch of birds loyal to the goddess, as the city seems to have been taken over by corrupt politicians and underground criminal groups.
