Trigger of Time shoots onto Windows PC

Time-manipulation environmental physics puzzler available now for download on Steam
Einstein taught us that time is relative, and while he surely didn't mean it quite the same way, we can put his theory to the test in a highly tangible, observable way in Pantopie's newly released environmental puzzler Trigger of Time.
For personal reasons she didn't disclose before leaving, a young woman named Elia felt compelled to join an expedition sent to investigate the subterranean "ruins of a lost civilization." Now she and the entire team have disappeared, leaving you to follow in their footsteps. You quickly discover, however – or perhaps not quickly at all – that "time stands still" in this unusual place. While deserted, "machines still hum [and] statues never crumble" here. The only change in who-knows-how-long is the "trail of notes, memories, and purpose" left behind by Elia herself. To find her, you'll need to "use a mysterious artifact to manipulate time locally," and as you progress you will "uncover the fate of a civilization that dared to master time… and the personal story of one who followed them too far."
At first glance, you'd be forgiven for thinking Trigger of Time is a first-person shooter, as you will indeed be armed and find yourself running and gunning your way through the mysterious "forgotten underground city" with its "melancholic atmosphere." Except instead of fighting enemies (not counting some laser security measures to bypass), you will use your weapon to "bend time to solve intricate puzzles woven into the ruins" of rocky caverns filled with advanced technological machinery. Success depends on slowing down or speeding up individual environmental elements in order to "reshape your surroundings" and overcome the physics-based obstacles you couldn't otherwise achieve. With the help of this invaluable but nonlethal firearm, it shouldn't take long to reach the end of the game's "minimalist story" – time may be relative, but most players should be able to complete it in about 90 minutes.
It seems only fitting that there should be no delay in playing Trigger of Time, as the game is now available to download on Steam for Windows PC.
