DEDALO unearthed on PC and Switch

New first-person 3D puzzle adventure from M9 Games set in frozen Arctic ruins and beyond
Amidst the hectic holiday shuffle in December, it would have been easy to overlook the PC arrival of DEDALO, the next puzzle adventure from prolific indie developer M9 Games. Fortunately, the recent Switch port serves as a welcome reminder for anyone (like us) who missed it the first time around.
In keeping with the Northern Hemisphere's chilly current winter weather, this game sends players to a much colder environment than its predecessors. All the way to the Arctic, in fact, where "fresh evidence of a lost civilization has surfaced." Dating back pre-Ice Age with no known connection to existing Arctic cultures, it's a momentous archeological find but it's also more than that, as in its ancient ruins, buried beneath all the snow and frozen ground, are unknown artifacts with "great power." As Kate, a writer and historian, you're sure there's a great story here, but getting to the bottom of it won't be easy, as "intricate puzzles" prevent all but the most keen-minded, intrepid explorers from accessing them.
Other than the change in locale, fans of M9 Games should know just what to expect by now: As with the developer's other recent releases (VENARI, SUBNET and more), DEDALO is a first-person 3D adventure in which you can freely explore the environments – in this case, some outdoors in subzero temperatures, others indoors in majestic temple-like rooms, and still others in another time and place entirely – perhaps even a whole other world from which you'll need to get back. Wherever you go, a wealth of inventory and logic puzzles await, so you'll need to collect useful items and pay attention to any important clues you encounter along the way.
DEDALO – Escape Room Adventure originally launched on Steam for Windows PC back on December 26th, and has now been joined by a Switch version on the Nintendo eShop. And if you need help at any point, the video walkthrough by Bartattack is sure to get you back up and moving onward once again.
