Rich Powell is a renowned artist and illustrator whose work has appeared in Highlights and MAD magazines, among many others. As a cartoonist, his syndicated panel Wide Open! won The National Cartoonist’s Society Silver Reuben for Best Online Cartoon Panel in both 2021 and 2022, and a collection of those cartoons was recently released in the paperback anthology Ignore This Singing Pig (and other things to try). Before all that, however, Rich began his career as a conceptual artist and art director at Sierra On-Line, where he worked on beloved series like Space Quest, Gabriel Knight, Phantasmagoria and King's Quest, making him an ideal guest for an extensive new video interview with Tech Talk's Daniel Albu.
