The fine folks at the Classic Gamers Guild Podcast – namely Anna Vigue and Paul Korman – are back at it again with another pair of stimulating (some might say over-stimulated) shows this month. From underrated gems to a pair of most unlikely adventure game protagonists, there's plenty here to keep you entertained while you should be doing more important things.

As always, we'll let Paul (the creator of the upcoming-some-day The Phantom Fellows) explain what to expect in his own uniquely Paul-esque way:

"In Hidden (In Plain Sight) Gems, Anna and I talk about great adventures that don't always get the attention they deserve. Kinda like you, maybe. Anyway, without spoiling the games mentioned, because I mean, c'mon, half the fun is finding out if we said the thing you wanted us to say, the games mentioned span from 1984 to 2020, and for the first time, I mention a non-adventure game! What is it, you ask? Well, it's definitely not James Pond 1. Mangia!"

In Beavis and Butt-Head in Virtual Stupidity, Anna and I talk you through a point-and-click adventure game that is often referred to as "surprisingly really good." What game is that? The one that's the title of the episode – omg it's so long, don't make me type it out again! FINE, Beavis and Butt-Head in Virtual Stupidity. Okay, I actually copied and pasted it; that wasn't so bad/sorry for yelling. Basically we attempt to give you a solid secondhand experience with the game, essentially playing it for you. I mean, we didn't really hit that mark but that's what we attempted. But we did have fun and laugh a lot, so maybe you will too, who knows. Mangia!"
