11 things you probably didn't know about Space Quest

It's been thirty years since the last Space Quest game, and yet Sierra's iconic sci-fi series still has the ability to surprise us. The games are full of Easter eggs and oversights and other fun facts that the Space Quest Historian has shared in detail before, but just when you think they must be exhausted, along comes yet another one.
Or eleven, actually. In his latest deep dive video, SQH offers even more little-known nuggets of interest from the adventures of Roger Wilco. Like, say, why you really don't need to fear spelunking cave mazes with tentacled cartoon creatures on your tail in SQ2, or failing your exam – or rather, failing at cheating on your StarCon Aptitude Test – in SQ5.
Already heard about those? There's plenty more where those came from. So settle in for a half-hour of insight and entertainment as the Space Quest Historian educates us with additional series trivia both on and off the screen, such as why the planet Lukaszuk is NOT the corporate diss it appears to be, how many times Sierra parodies have actually been sued for copyright infringement, and how you can help the ZZ Top guitarists grow their beards back to their former bushy glory. And, of course, what makes narrator Gary Owens' nipples hard.
