First details arise from upcoming Deep Siren

Lovecraftian WWII horror fairytale unveiled by the creator of Moonrise Fall and Murder on Space Station 52
In 2019, Christopher Mathes and his Made From Strings indie studio dropped players into the middle of a haunted forest. Five years later, they left us stranded on a massive space station with a deranged serial killer. The developer's next project will take us to a whole different environment yet again – one a whole lot farther down in the upcoming horor adventure Deep Siren.
Alexander Calder, a man who has long been plagued by thoughts that are seemingly not his own, is the only survivor of the wreck of the U.S.S. Siren, though perhaps that will prove to be more of a curse than a blessing. Now alone and adrift at sea, Alexander encounters a mermaid, but unfortunately for him this is no Splash love story. Instead the protagonist soon "finds himself plunged into a world of supernatural horror." Far below the waves, players will need to help him "survive terrifying creatures, navigate alien technology, and discover the secrets of the deep," all while struggling to discern what is even real anymore.
The art style of Deep Siren more closely resembles the stylish hand-sketched look of 2024's Murder on Space Station 52 than the overhead pixel art view of Moonrise Fall. Once again there will be various locations to explore and puzzles to solve, but this game is set "fathoms beneath the surface" and will be more of a dark psychological thriller than its predecessors, filled with "creatures and pulpy sci-fi." Fully voiced with an original score and described as a "Lovecraftian WWII horror fairytale," it breaks somewhat from traditional adventures with "unique gameplay mechanics as Alex battles to hold on to his sanity," including an "eye-closing" mechanic to separate what is real from what are only terrible figments of Alex's own imagination.
There is no firm target release date just yet, but we shouldn't have to wait five years between games this time, as Deep Siren is on pace to launch on Steam, GOG and Epic sometime in 2026.
