Description

Ruth is a medical unit marked as a “problem element” after attempting a forbidden procedure on a patient afflicted by a mysterious plague. Exiled to the silence of a nameless clinic, Ruth has nearly resigned herself to the shadows when the sickness returns. As she crosses paths with robots suffering from malfunctions, pain, and nightmares, treatments become personal stories about love, loss, work, memory, and identity. Through dreams, repairs, and investigations, secrets buried in the city’s past and future begin to surface.
