In the Abyss of Dream
Description
As the Great Darkness shrouds the province of Quebec, young Thérèse’s life is upended when, after her mother’s death, she is placed in the Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Passion Orphanage. She finds herself in a place ruled by violence and cruelty, where God Himself seems to turn a blind eye to the suffering of His children. At night, Thérèse is transported to another world. It seems more peaceful, almost enchanting, but she quickly realizes that horrors beyond comprehension lurk there. And perhaps this world, which appears only in her dreams, can explain the strange phenomena that occur within the orphanage’s walls.
