Taïna, a modern-day journalist determined to uncover the truth about the disappearance of the Terror, one of the ships from the 19th-century Franklin expedition, finds her destiny mysteriously linked to that of Peter, a young filmmaker on a military expedition in the 1950s, and Simon, a Franklin expedition sailor trying to rally his crewmates in the midst of a mutiny.
